My time in the Ebola Response Efforts; while taking me away from home for lengths of time allowed me to expand my skill set as a public health advisor and public health change agent beyond one focus area. New allies, experiences, methodology and opportunities that engaged me in real time in a ways that accreditation “exams” such as CHES can never capture.
